Description:
When you walk in, you will be greeted with warm wooden seats, the smell of BBQ smoke on the air, and friendly counter staff. A mix of eclectic and stereotypical BBQ decorations, local bulletin board, and optional swag decorate the walls, giving the place a well lived-in atmosphere. If you are blessed enough to be there on a Thursday, you’ll see signs for their version of a brisket-based Reuben. But any day of the week still works if you are looking for vegetarian friendly options, traditional Southern BBQ meats, or some of their wonderful sides. (The mac and cheese has been published in the AJC if you need to recreate it yourself. https://www.ajc.com/entertainment/dining/knack-for-mac-and-cheese/KfdaqICH5nzEoY923ulAxM/ ) And if you are really lucky, you’ll get chatted up by Stu, one of the owners, as he makes his rounds and get an opportunity to experience a real rarity: hockey stories in the South.
