NC

Approximate distance from Wake Forest University: More than 10 miles
Description:
This is the real deal, where they still cook with wood. There is no indoor seating, just a few picnic tables. Go very early, definitely no later than 10:30am, because people line up and they run out of food fast. They close when they run out. You know it is special when the intersecting road is named B’s Barbeque Road. This is a prime example of Eastern style NC pork, but the restaurant is even more famous for it’s chicken. It is also known for its corn sticks.
